Reese and Baker wed on the East Fork
Ashley Baker and Bryce Reese were united in marriage July 2, 2016, at the Baker family ranch on East Fork with Tina Bobo officiating and family and friends in attendance.
The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Melodie Baker of Clayton (East Fork), Idaho, and the groom is the son of Keith and Debbie Reese of Stanley, Idaho.
Ashley graduated from Challis High School and from University of Idaho and Boise State University and is currently employed as the Co-Teacher for Stanley Elementary. Bryce graduated from Hailey High School and will finish his Associate of Science degree in Paramedic Science through ISU in November.
The bride wore an ivory high/low gown that she had designed to show off her custom-made turquoise and ivory boots. Her mother made the gown with hand-sewn lace and pearl accents and with a removable, cathedral-length train also with hand-sewn lace. The bouquets were created with handmade burlap flowers in red, turquoise, beige and white and were made by the bride and mothers of the bride and groom. The bride’s bouquet featured pictures of her two grandpas who are no longer with us. The cupcakes and bride and groom’s cake were made by the bride and mothers of the bride and groom using the bride’s maternal great aunt’s recipe. Decorations were quaky leaves and branches, sagebrush, wildflowers, burlap flowers, Mason jars and keepsakes and creations from family and friends.
The bride, father of the bride, flower girl, ring bearer, maid of honor and bridesmaids arrived in #48 Yellowstone Coach, one of the original Yellowstone Coaches in the Yellowstone Park Transportation Company’s Coach Line started in 1886. It was driven by its owner, Doug Westfall.
Dinner was Dutch-oven style and the newlyweds spent the evening dancing with their friends and family to the Travis Hardy Band, while Kat Cannell captured memories in photographs. The couple then honeymooned on the uppermost Baker family ranch at Pine Creek in a wall tent complete with a handmade barbed-wire and wood bedframe and feather mattress that the mothers of the bride and groom and family and friends decorated just for the occasion.
The newlyweds currently reside in Stanley, Idaho.
