Trustees of the Challis Joint School District No. 181 board were surprised to see a new four-piece, horseshoe-shaped desk at their Nov. 15 meeting. It came complete with the lectern shown above and two end tables. School district Maintenance Supervisor Bob Andrews regularly checks Idaho public surplus listings and found the set for $55.46 in Canyon County.
