Gossi family visits Clayton

Clayton was blessed to have several generations of the Gossi family stop in the town Sunday, May 28. They visited the museum, the park, the community center and the cemetery. Delbert Gossi passed away several months ago. He was the brother of the late Tom Gossi, after whom the American Legion post and the community center are named. The family asked that in lieu of flowers donations be given to the community center. The city of Clayton tries to operate on a no-spending basis as much as possible, so it is blessed to have donations ensuring the city can continue to operate. The city was able to have all council members present to welcome the Gossi family, and those in attendance enjoyed drinks and Shirley Temples.
