Walking Egyptian onions… These hardy plants have a strong flavor of onions that will intensify as warm weather appears. They are delicious with horseradish and roast beef or elk or any red meat. These are shown as dug from the ground. At right are the dead husks removed and in the center they are cleaned. At left they are to be eaten as fresh green spring onions. They are very tender.
