Bicyclists tour Idaho

A lone rider on the Bicycle Rides Northwest tour of Idaho crosses the bridge over the Salmon River south of town last week. Hundreds of cyclists from two different tours, Bicycle Rides Northwest and Ride Idaho, came into Challis the same day, Monday, Aug. 7, stayed the night and departed next day on their respective routes. The Challis Messenger took photos of a couple of riders on the Bicycle Rides Northest tour last week and mistakenly identified them as Ride Idaho cyclists. The two groups were back in town later in the week on their return trips.
