Good Old Days of Custer County

Students in Idaho State University’s new Crop and Soil Technology course are being trained for agricultural jobs that will supplement the actual production of farming. The two-year program, offered in ISU’s Trade and Technical School, is training students as technologists for work with agricultural manufacturers and conservation agencies. Here the program’s full-time instructor, Leslie G. Jackson (right), points up the things to look for in a good crop of corn.
