Mountain Transitions by Jim Connor

Gentle-seeming and graceful but rarely loved. Asian collared doves are a rapidly increasing invasive species in North America. They flock to feeders and have, to some at least, most unpleasant calls. Like native mourning doves, they are edible and can be taken in any season and have no harvest limits.
