New art show opens at MadDog

The work of Challis artist Cody LaRoy goes on display at the MadDog Gallery July 27 and remains up for public viewing until Nov. 1. A reception to open the show is scheduled at 5 p.m. Friday, July 27, at the gallery at 632 Main.

Clayton volunteer honored

Clayton resident Terry Bryant received a plaque recognizing his work in maintaining the park in Clayton. Bryant donates his time to mow and trim the park and keep it watered and free of debris. He extended his clean-up efforts this year to spruce up around the Legion Hall and other nearby buildings. He was honored during the Clayton Fourth of July pit barbecue.
