Critters in winter

Motorists beware! Bighorn sheep like to lick salt off highways, so it’s more likely you’ll find them in the middle of the road during winter months. These three were hanging out on Highway 75 between the Challis Buffalo Jump and Bradshaw Corner recently. In this unusually deep snow year for Round Valley and vicinity, an avalanche blocked Bradshaw Corner (background) earlier this month.
