Cody J ‘Egor’ Beasley went to his Father in heaven on December 28, 2012.Cody was born August 20, 1964 to Bruce M. Beasley and Deslie Joan Dodge in Idaho Falls, Idaho at the LDS Hospital. He spent the first two years in the Idaho Falls area and then the family moved to Fontana, California, where they spent the next six years. In 1972, the family returned to Idaho, moving to Shelley where he lived until he was married to Lorraine Hansen. They were later divorced. He worked various jobs in the area and also played music with his parents’ band, Joanie and the Hard Riders, until they retired. He then continued to play music until he could no longer play. Cody’s greatest life’s love was his family, fishing and music, learning how to play six string instruments. He was also an accomplished artist, receiving offers to work for Walt Disney Studios in California. He lived in the Chubbuck area for at least 12 years prior to his passing. He will be missed by all who knew him, besides his family. Cody is survived by his soulmate and the love of his life, Anne Marie Barrett; sons Bruce Ashley of McCammon, Idaho; Chris Layton of Chubbuck, Idaho; James Joseph Beasley of Idaho Falls; stepson Jake Brynden Raey; stepdaughters Kaela Anne Barrett and Serena Marie Sanders; parents Bruce M. and Deslie Joan Beasley of Ellis, Idaho; sister Holly (Eric Todd) Hendrix of Shelley; brothers Corey M. Beasley of Ellis, Johnathon Lafeyette (Cherlyn Jo) Beasley of Las Vegas, Nevada; nephew Adam Levi Rawson and niece Joanna Marie (Robert Scott) Hendrix; and grandsons Kayden Ray Powell and Zakoda Sanders. Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Lafeyette of Idaho Falls; uncle Judd Melgaard; grandfather Guy Ashley Dodge of Ucon, Idaho; and other aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held for Cody January 2, 2013 at Goshen LDS Chapel with interment at the Goshen Cemetery.
