Chad Daybell is currently on trial after being charged in the deaths of Tammy Daybell, Tylee Ryan and J.J. Vallow. He’s also been charged with insurance fraud after allegedly taking $430,000 in life insurance payouts for Tammy’s death.
His trial is expected to last 10 weeks, and if convicted, Daybell could face the death penalty.
Chad was married to Lori Vallow-Daybell, who has been convicted on all six felony counts against her.
Vallow-Daybell was found guilty on May 12 for the murders and conspiracy to commit murder of her two children, J.J. and Tylee. She was also found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder in the death of her romantic rival Tammy Daybell and grand theft.
Vallow-Daybell was sentenced by Seventh District Judge Steven Boyce to three consecutive life sentences. Vallow-Daybell has been extradited to Arizona to face more charges related to murder conspiracy charges in the death of her former husband, Charles Vallow.
